Your fall period survival guide ☕️
Is it just us, or do periods seem a little rougher in the fall? Cramps seem to be more unbearable, there is a camping weekend or 5k fundraiser looming around every corner, and countless family reunions are in the books… who invited Aunt Flo?! ??
Sometimes, even with your handy dandy Pixie Cup by your side to save the day and give you (CRAZY AWESOME) period freedom, there are moments that we all find it hard to stay positive.
Don’t worry, we’ve got your back! Here are 3 things you can do to make those fall periods a lot less crazy and a lot more fabulous! ??
1. Girl, treat yourself! ☕️
Seriously though, a bar of dark chocolate or a creamy pumpkin spice latte goes a LONG way to put a smile on any girl’s face! It’s so much easier to stay positive when you have something delicious to look forward to during your period!
2. Style is everything
Whether it be a ridiculously comfy oversized sweater and booties, or a little extra sparkle to your eyeshadow and some lipstick, throw on something that makes you feel comfortable and extra gorgeous! When we are on our periods, the emotions can go crazy and sometimes we feel a little extra insecure or sensitive. Putting on something that makes you feel happy goes so far toward staying positive and having an incredible day!
3. Give all the thanks
Set a timer for five minutes and write a list of things you are thankful for. This sounds a little cheesy, but let me tell you, it works! It’s amazing how much easier it is to smile after you meditate on the blessings that are scattered throughout each day. It can be as small as a smile from a stranger, or as huge as National Coffee Day, but we believe you can find more than you think!
May your days be full of blessings and your face be covered with smiles as you ENJOY these gorgeous fall days!
